To be registered members of the UserScout website, you are required to provide us with your email and an accompanying password for verification. Project organizers are not required to provide any additional information. Billing information will only be collected and processed by the third party application PayPal. Project participants are required to provide additional personal information which includes but not limited to your name, age, sex and demographics in order to qualify for the projects.

We also do collect non-personal data which includes without limitation Internet Protocol addresses, browser information, device type and operating systems in order to aggregate information and statistics for the purposes of verification and monitoring website usage in order to help us develop the website and our services. This includes providing such aggregate information to third parties for this purposes. These statistics and aggregated data will not include information that can be used to identify any individual.


2. Collecting Information

All personal information submitted through the UserScout website is voluntary. You should not provide information you are uncomfortable with sharing through the website. You are however advised to provide complete and truthful information to qualify yourselves for a wider range of projects and to give you a better profile score. UserScout offers you the ability to sync your UserScout profile information with your Facebook profile information. This allows you to populate your profiles with relevant information to better recommend you projects. If you are not logged into Facebook, when you use the Site’s Facebook connection functions, you will be prompted to enter your Facebook credentials or to sign up for Facebook. By proceeding through any of these scenarios, you grant UserScout permission to access your Facebook profile information and to use it in accordance with the Facebook terms of use and this Privacy Statement. Please refer to the privacy settings in your Facebook account to manage the performance of your Facebook account.


4. LinkedIn Connect

UserScout offers you the ability to sync your UserScout profile information with your LinkedIn profile information. This allows you to populate your profiles with relevant information to better recommend you projects. If you are not logged into LinkedIn, when you use the Site’s LinkedIn connection functions, you will be prompted to enter your LinkedIn credentials or to sign up for LinkedIn. By proceeding through any of these scenarios, you grant UserScout permission to access your LinkedIn profile information and to use it in accordance with the LinkedIn terms of use and this Privacy Statement. Please refer to the privacy settings in your LinkedIn account to manage the performance of your LinkedIn account.


5. Use Of Information

Information collected is primarily used in the pre-filtering and screening process in order to provide relevant users for the projects. Such information will also be used to recommend you projects that fit your profile information. It is also used to inform you of our campaigns and to communicate with you on any matter relating to the conduct of your account or the use of the website in general. Relevant information can be used by us, our agents and/or sub-contractors to process your applications, to answer your requests and questions.

Your information may be used or shared for the purpose of providing you with any requested information or services; may be used by the us to send information about additional services; may be shared with or sold to any successor to or purchaser of part or all of the assets of the business; and may be shared with third parties that the website operator believes may offer goods or services of interest to you. Third party project organizers have the right to access only the information contributed through their projects and information you have explicitly expressed permission for their access. Users are advised to take caution when providing information to third party project creators. Additional information on the users such as username, user score and participation history (project category, date and status outcome) will also be accessible to the project organizer. This is to enable the project organizers to make an informed decision when selecting users for their projects. Project organizers to not have access to the profile of the users.


7. Referring Friends to UserScout

UserScout enables you to refer friends to UserScout. If you wish to refer friends to UserScout, please use the sharing icons or our referral systems, which you can share directly with others via email, social media websites, or other communications methods. UserScout does not collect Personal Information about the persons with whom you share your link until the persons click the link and engage directly with UserScout.


8. Rights to Your Information

You retain all the rights to you information. At any time will you be able to add, edit or delete information about yourself. You are able to terminate your accounts at any time by writing to us. If you choose to terminate your account, please do note that we may retain residual information in our backups and/or archived copies of our database.
